MUSIC.

Writing has always been my preferred form of expression.

In 2016, I found my world of poetry slams, open mics and party freestyles colliding more and more often with serious musicians, so I started my own record label, Clockout Records. My album, “Pet Falcon”, was sold in stores, streamed on all major platforms for two years, and is now available for purchase exclusively on vinyl. Spoiler Alert: I’ll give you one if you ask nicely.

Funny enough, a Creative Director heard my music and that’s how I transitioned my passion for words into the advertising world. It might not make sense, but I think of syllables like notes in a song or pieces of a puzzle. I am truly a word nerd who lives for the well crafted line.

ACTING.

Growing up, being an actor was never a dream of mine, I wanted to play in the NBA. You may notice that an “NBA Accolades” page does not appear anywhere on this website. Acting was something that I found when I really needed a way out both physically and metaphorically - it provided that for me and I grew to love it. After attending AADA in New York, I moved to Los Angeles and was fortunate enough to appear in TV shows, movies, and video games.

Spending time on the other side of the camera is an experience that not every writer has had the privilege of, and I think that it gives me a unique perspective when it comes to envisioning a scene, understanding scripts, or thinking from a cinematic perspective. They say we are the sum total of our experiences, so I feel fortunate to have added this to my equation.
